An El Paso native, Dr. Frausto has been in practice since 2001. She graduated from St. Mary’s University and obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University-College of Human Medicine. Her pediatric training was completed at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University in Flint, MI. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a professional organization of pediatricians and pediatric specialists dedicated to the care and well being of infants, children adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Frausto is a graduate of Eastwood High School and is still active in her El Paso community serving as chair of the Riverside High School T-STEM committee. The purpose of STEM is for public and private groups and partners to strengthen the public education system so that Texas Students are prepared to succeed in school, college and the workforce. She is also the assistant clinical professor in pediatrics at the Texas Tech University Medical Health Science Center Paul Foster School of Medicine.
